The energy that is not immediately needed is led by the inverter directly to the battery (remains DC). The advantage of a hybrid inverter compared to separate inverters is the high efficiency and low costs. Installation is simpler and faster. The disadvantage is that a hybrid inverter is not very flexible. The technical characteristics of the inverter must therefore be suitable for the project.
