PEAK-SHAVING
A peak shaving system may be necessary in locations or situations where the grid supplier cannot provide sufficient capacity at specific times. It can also be beneficial in situations where there is enough capacity but connection reinforcement is needed.
Advantages of a Peak Shaving system include:
● Lower fixed costs: requires a smaller connection
● Increased reliability: in the event of a mains power failure, power is sourced from the battery, which is charged by solar panels and wind turbines (optional)

Batteries:
While lithium (LiFePO4) batteries are commonly used in energy storage systems, lead-acid (AGM) batteries are also highly suitable for peak shaving. The cost is significantly lower, while the expected lifespan is around 12 years.
Inverters:
Our inverters are designed for use in both single-phase and three-phase systems. It is easy to configure the maximum consumption allowed from the mains voltage. Any consumption exceeding this limit is supplied by the inverter.
