The Victron Quattro-II 48/5000/70 inverter/charger combination, just like the MultiPlus, is a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger with adaptive charging technology, and fast AC transfer switches in a single compact enclosure. Unlike the MultiPlus, the Quattro accepts two AC inputs and automatically connects to the active source. Its many special features include hybrid PowerAssist technology and multiple system integration functions such as three-phase or single-phase operation and parallel operation. All Quattro units have a sturdy steel/aluminum enclosure (IP21 protection class).
The Quattro 48/5000/70 is a combination of a powerful pure sine wave inverter with a capacity of 5000 VA (4000 Watts), an advanced battery charger with adaptive charging technology of 70 Amperes, and a dual high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact metal enclosure. Quattro units are equipped with two (2) AC inputs, allowing connection to different 230V power sources and automatic prioritization. This Quattro does not include the necessary 70mm² or 2x 35mm² cables and has four (4) M8 bolts (2 positive and 2 negative connections) for battery connection.
All Quattro models in this series come with PowerControl and PowerAssist functionality. They are also suitable for three-phase and parallel configurations. This model has a maximum transfer current of 2x 100A.
